The machining centres of the BC 100/125 series is a particularly powerful generation of CNC machines for mould and tool manufacturing and general machining. The main spindle can have a rating of 55 kW.
It can develop up to 532/360 Nm of torque. In addition to these performance specifications, the size of the operating range is a significant critical factor to be taken into account when choosing your model. The BC machining centres are available in lengths of 2500, 3500, 4500 and 6500 mm. The Y-axis can travel 1000/1250 mm. The Z-axis is capable of 770 mm. DIN/ISO 69872/50 tool holders (taper 50) are standard equipment.
The water-cooled CELOX® motor spindles can be equipped with HSK A100 tool holders.
HEDELIUS machining centres have pre-tensioned ballscrews on the X-axis with the ballnut being driven. This results in very stiff drive system giving a high feed rate, excellent surface finish and contouring accuracy.
