The unique combination of a 3- and 5-axis working area sets apart the HEDELIUS ROTASwing® family of machines. The island concept offers maximum precision and productivity and enables efficient and extremely economical machining of complex workpieces on all sides, be it for small, medium or large-scale mass production. The right, 3-axis working area is used to machine the reference and clamping surfaces required for complete six-sided machining. The workpiece is then transferred to the left, 5-axis working area, where, with virtually no idle time, five-sided finish machining can be carried out.
