The development objective — a super-compact, five-axis simultaneous machining centre for tool and mould making – was realised with the RS 100CS series. The most striking feature of the RS 100CS is the supplementary magazine integrated in the right-hand machine space. When equipped with angle milling cutters or extra-large tools, this supplementary magazine gives users access to a wealth of new machining capabilities. With the especially compact angle milling cutters, workpieces can be machined internally.
