The stand-alone concept offers maximum productivity and enables highly economical machining of tools and molds. The three-axis working area is used to machine the reference and clamping surfaces required for complete six-sided machining, or to drill holes with an angled drilling head. Once the workpiece has been reclamped in the left-hand five-axis workspace, five-sided finish machining can be carried out with virtually no idle time.
