The RS 125 series

ROTASwing^® 5-axis machining centres from HEDELIUS are ideal for mould making, tool making and general machining of components.

The 3- and 5- axis pendulum operation concept improves productivity by at least forty percent. The RS 100/125 machining centres offers the user three different sizes of machine.

The C/K version allows workpieces up to 1550 x 1000 mm to be machined in the 3-axis operating range, while the CL/KL version extends the allowable length to 2550 mm.

The 3-axis operating ranges can be equipped with NC rotary indexing tables for shaft machining or to operate swivelling fixtures.

The 5-axis operating table can handle components up to Ø 1000/1250 mm. All models offer outstanding high precision, reliability and cutting performance as well as an efficient use of floor space. Spindle ratings of 29,0/35,0 and 55 kW and spindle speeds up to 18000 rpm guarantee that high rates of metal removal can be achieved. Spindle tooling can be supplied in the following types - SK 40/HKS A63, SK 50 or HSK 100.
