An outstanding feature of this design is the moving-column concept with a 3-axis and a 5-axis working area.The axis-parallel advance feed of the interface-free main spindles guarantees maximum precision in all machining positions. The high degree of rigidity and the short power flow in the rotary-swivel table unit, mounted in shoulder bearings, or in the machine table ensure optimum metal removal performance and robust machine durability.

New standarts

The HEDELIUS RS 60K sets new standards in tool-making and mould-making applications. Jolt-free acceleration of the axes guarantees maximum contour accuracy and surface quality. The A- and C-axes featuring hydraulic clamping facilities are ideally equipped for heavy-duty machining operations. The RS 60K can handle the most diverse machining tasks. Extended by an NC circular indexing table, shafts, pipes or sections can be efficiently machined from all sides. By removing the side panelling element, long workpieces can be slid laterally into the working area.

The height settings of the machine table are optimally adapted to the requirements of the machine operator. Thanks to the low-set, coolant-protected door runner rail, the machine can be effortlessly loaded and unloaded.
