This user-friendly, entry-level automation centre has been specially developed for loading and unloading small production series and/or small workpieces. The centre features a 6-axis robot that takes the workpieces from a fixed table and places them in the 5-axis machining centre of the ACURA series. The system can load the machine from the front or the side, depending on the space available.

RoboJob Mill-Assist + ACURA 5-axis machining centre

The RoboJob Mill-Assist is ideally suited for side loading the ACURA 50 EL and ACURA 65 EL 5-axis machining centres. The work area remains accessible from the front for the production of individual parts, and for setting up and loading workpieces.

Both the zero point clamping system (optional) integrated into the machine table and the integral media transfer allow conversion of the machining centre for automated production within a matter of minutes.

Fixtures and power clamps are prepared on pallets, for example, and manually inserted into the work area, enabling the mixed production of individual parts and series with a high degree of economy and efficiency.

By repositioning bolts in a grid plate, it is possible to convert the MiIl-Assist to different workpiece formats in just a few simple steps.

The gripper jaws can be adapted to the workpiece width by loosening a screw.

The automatic blow-off function for the gripper jaws increases process reliability in fully automatic operation.
