HEDELIUS MARATHON SR415
on TILTENTA 7-2000 NEO
This combination enables highly efficient 5-axis series production in unmanned operation. Thanks to side loading with a transfer weight of up to 470 kg, 700 mm diameter and 500 mm clamping height, seamless and economical production is ensured - even after work or at the weekend. With 15 pallets in the magazine and pallet dimensions of 400 x 400 mm or 400 x 500 mm, this solution offers maximum spindle running times combined with high flexibility.
Automation with TILTENTA.
Automated long-bed milling machines with swivelling spindle.
The demand for efficient automation solutions is constantly growing. In recent years, numerous machining centres in the ACURA series have already been successfully equipped with pallet handling systems and robots. Now we are also seeing growing interest in automation solutions for TILTENTA machining centres.
The TILTENTA machining centres offer unique universality in combined 5-axis and long part machining and are ideal for single parts and small series production. With additional automation solutions, our customers can maximise the productivity of their systems - for example through automatic operation in an additional shift or at weekends. This allows the machine to be used more efficiently and the available space to be optimally utilised.
Automation solutions.
HEDELIUS equips the machines with a rotary transfer, pneumatic system for controlling the zero-point clamping system, an automatic door and an interface in accordance with the requirements. The automation is realised in cooperation with our automation partners.
BMO Platinum
to TILTENTA 9-2600
The TILTENTA 9 machining centre with a generous X travel path of 2,600 mm enables flexible automation for both pallet and workpiece loading thanks to its connection to a BMO Platinum robot unit. The fixture changeover is fully automatic. Equipped with up to 7 robust product drawers and up to 16 pallet locations, this solution enables you to produce a mixture of single parts and small to medium series.
INDUMATIK UL 300
on TILTENTA 7-2000 NEO
Eliminate unproductive hours at night or at the weekend while benefiting from the height flexibility of a swivelling spindle machining centre. The INDUMATIK UL 300 pallet magazine offers space for eight pallets (400x400 mm) or six pallets (500x500 mm) with an impressive transfer weight of 300 kg. The system is perfect for closing large workpieces and high weights with low space requirements.
INDUMATIK Robot 200
on TILTENTA 7-2000 NEO
With more pallets and therefore more clamping devices in the magazine, you can react more quickly to changes in production, as no major changeover work is required. Another advantage of the INDUMATIK Robot 200 is its extremely space-saving design thanks to the innovative SCARA construction. Thanks to the flexibly extendable floor-mounted chassis, the number of pallet locations can be expanded almost at will and it is possible to connect a second machine.
BMO Infinity
on TILTENTA 7-2000 NEO
The Infinity hybrid automation system is a versatile, configurable automation platform that enables the combination of pallet and workpiece loading. In this example, the solution offers 10 pallet magazine locations for workpieces with a diameter of up to 600 mm and a transfer weight of 180 kg. Workpieces are pre-positioned in a grid on two additional storage spaces for Euro pallets and then inserted into the machining centre by a 6-axis robot.
Robojob Pallet Load
on TILTENTA 7-2000 NEO
The Robojob Pallet Load enables fully automated loading and unloading of the machining centre and thus sustainably increases production efficiency. The raw parts are placed or stacked on a modularly configurable system pallet, which is equipped with precisely positioned stop pins or precisely fitting inlays. The system is equipped with a powerful robot that is controlled via user-friendly, intuitive software.
BMO Platinum
on TILTENTA 7-2000 NEO
The BMO Platinum has a 6-axis robot that removes workpieces from raster drawers and then inserts them into the TILTENTA 7-2000 NEO. In order to be able to react flexibly to small batch sizes and increase the unmanned running time, the BMO Platinum also has 8 pallet locations for holding the clamping devices. The 6-axis robot first inserts the required clamping device into the machine and then tools the device with the raw parts.
BMO Infinity 180 sideloader
on TILTENTA 7-2600 NEO
The TILTENTA 7-2600 NEO with BMO Infinity 180 sideloader offers a highly flexible solution for processing single parts and series. The combination of pallet and workpiece handling, automatic clamping device change and a modular shelving system enables almost unlimited storage of a wide variety of workpieces. Loading takes place from the side, making compact installation possible. The Infinity robot cell can be flexibly expanded at a later date
INDUMATIK VL200
to TILTENTA 7-2600 NEO
The TILTENTA 7-2600 NEO EL opens up new areas of application in the fully automated processing of single parts and series. The connection to the INDUMATIK VL200 enables continuous, unmanned operation over longer periods of time. The workpiece storage system is based on a powerful rack system and allows the handling of workpieces measuring up to 400 × 400 mm and a maximum transfer weight of 200 kg.
Machining centres for automation.
The machining centres in the TILTENTA series are characterised by their height of universality in the combination of 5-axis and long part machining. Customers looking for ways to optimise the efficiency of their machines and the available space will find an ideal solution in the additional automation. Our TILTENTA 7-2600 NEO and TILTENTA 9-2600 models in particular are ideally suited for such accompanying automation due to their dimensions.
More automation solutions.
The automation of your TILTENTA machining centre does not have to be limited to automatic loading. With additional technical solutions, you can further simplify the chipping process itself, as well as upstream and downstream processes, and further increase your spindle running time. Depending on your individual requirements and production conditions, we can offer you a perfectly harmonised overall solution.
By automating the provision of your chipping tools, you can significantly minimise your set-up costs. The HEDELIUS STANDBY MAGAZIN is a cabinet magazine that is installed behind your CNC machining centre to save space. It offers you access to up to 264 additional tools.
We offer you the option of connecting your CNC machining centre to a chip press. This ensures that the chips produced are automatically compressed into compact briquettes while cooling lubricants are separated at the same time. This saves you valuable resources and minimises logistics costs.
5-axis chipping is also made possible by our ACURA series machining centres with rotating/swivelling table mounted on both sides. Workpieces with an interference circle of up to 900 mm can be manufactured precisely and quickly despite the smallest dimensions. Here, too, we offer you a wide range of options for accompanying automation.
