Automation with 6-axis robot.
The MARATHON RZ multi-pallet magazine system will be ready for demonstrations just in time for the in-house exhibition - the first in-house automation system open to a 6-axis robot. With up to 34 pallets of 400 x 400 mm each and a clamping height of 400 mm, the system is ideal when single parts need to be produced as repeat parts, small series or medium series. Pallet handling is performed by a 6-axis YASWAKA robot with a load capacity of 88 kg (optional 110 kg). Two pull-out storage/retrieval stations guarantee maximum productivity even with short program runtimes.
The MARATHON RZ is perfectly open to the ACURA 50 and ACURA 65 5-axis machining centres.

(PDF | DE) Machining large workpieces flexibly whilst reducing unproductive downtime: The TILTENTA 9-2600 with MARATHON LR810 combines the advantages of a universal travelling-column machine with high-performance heavy-duty automation. During the day, the machine remains freely accessible for the manual machining of large and complex single parts, whilst the automation system enables additional productive spindle hours outside regular shifts. From 15 to 19 September 2026, HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik GmbH will be presenting three automation solutions at the AMB in Stuttgart, designed to meet a range of requirements in single-part and small series production. The focus is on productive manufacturing concepts that maximise spindle running time, reduce set-up time and give manufacturing companies greater flexibility in handling changing orders. A particular highlight is the premiere of the new MARATHON LR810 heavy-duty automation system. The systems can be seen in action in Hall 10, Stand D71.
