• HEDELIUS pick-up magazine.

Swap in large or long tools automatically.

10.05.2020

If very long tools such as deep hole drills or tools with a large diameter such as disc cutters or spindle tools are required in a HEDELIUS machining centre, the pick-up magazine is the solution.

The pick-up magazine is mounted on the side of the machine table and offers space for up to 5 tools. The maximum tool diameter is 210 mm and the maximum tool length is 480 mm. In order to minimise travel path loss in the machine, the magazine is inserted pneumatically into the work area. The previous manual tool change is no longer necessary. Your employees are relieved and their productivity increases.

Complete machining of complex workpieces in a single setup with the HEDELIUS TILTENTA 9-2600 MILLTURN

Milling and turning in one clamping: In the new product video, the TILTENTA MILLTURN shows what modern complete processing looks like today. The continuous machining process reduces reclamping operations, increases process reliability and creates the basis for the economical and precise production of complex workpieces. Experience the TILTENTA MILLTURN in practical use and discover the advantages of economical and process reliable complete processing on one machine.

In modern CNC production, no two jobs are the same: Today prismatic 3-axis machining, tomorrow complex 5-axis components and then the machining of shafts, tubes or mouldings. With the FORTE 65 with rotating/swivelling table, HEDELIUS offers a machining centre that adapts quickly and efficiently to changing requirements for maximum productivity and safety.

The GEWO Feinmechanik GmbH & Co. KG relies on the 3-axis machining centre FORTE 85 Single 1620 from HEDELIUS for the production of high-precision components. The decisive factors for the investment were the high machine stability, the large Y travel path and the compact design of the CNC milling machine. In daily use, the FORTE 85 impresses with its precise machining results, high level of user-friendliness and economical production, even with difficult-to-machine materials. GEWO also reports productivity increases of 15 to 20 per cent and emphasises the partnership-based cooperation with HEDELIUS.
