AMB in Stuttgart is one of the leading trade fairs in the metalworking industry and is a central meeting place for experts, users and decision-makers from the machining technology sector worldwide. From 15 to 19 September 2026, HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik GmbH will once again be presenting itself at this important industry event and showcasing future-oriented solutions for modern manufacturing.
The trade fair presentation will focus on three different automation concepts with which HEDELIUS is specifically increasing efficiency and flexibility in single parts and small series production. These include a compact pallet automation system, a flexible hybrid automation solution with a robot arm and a special highlight: the exclusive premiere of a new automation system from the in-house MARATHON series.

New dimensions in the
Heavy-duty automation.
With the premiere of a new automation system from the MARATHON series, HEDELIUS has reached a new level in heavy parts automation. With this system, new dimensions in weight and volume can be automatically loaded and economically chipped. In combination with the long-bed machining centres of the TILTENTA 9 series, a powerful overall system for maximum flexibility is created. Mixed production ensures optimum machining output.

ACURA 85 MARATHON
+ MARATHON SR518.
With 18 pallets of 500 x 500 mm each, the MARATHON SR518 multi-pallet magazine is perfect for the flexible automation of recurring single parts or small to medium-sized series. Thanks to the ergonomic loading height and a rotating storage/retrieval station, the system is optimally customised to the operator's needs. Combined with the ACURA 85 MARATHON, the result is a duo that promises maximised spindle hours.
ACURA 65 MARATHON
+ MARATHON RZ430.
The MARATHON RZ430 can be used to handle both pallets and single parts. The connected ACURA machining centre is loaded by a 6-axis YASKAWA robot with a load capacity of 88 or optionally 110 kg. However, the system is easy to operate even without robot programming knowledge. For even greater productivity, the MARATHON RZ430 can load two ACURA machining centres at the same time in a form of linear interlinking.
TILTENTA 9
+ MARATHON NEW.
With the combination of the TILTENTA 9 and the latest MARATHON automation, HEDELIUS is opening up new possibilities in automated heavy part machining. The system enables the safe handling of large and heavy workpieces and is ideal for demanding applications. The machine and automation are seamlessly integrated and ensure high productivity and maximum flexibility. The innovation will be presented live for the first time at AMB 2026.
