Press release:

HEDELIUS is honoured with the CrefoZert for the ninth time in a row.

HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik GmbH in Meppen has once again been awarded the Creditreform CrefoZert credit rating certificate. This certificate once again confirms the company's excellent creditworthiness. The strict requirements for the renewal of the CrefoZert continue to be met in full.

Since its foundation in 1967 as a manufacturer of woodworking machines, HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik has specialised in the development and production of vertical CNC travelling column machining centres. The wide-ranging machine programme includes models with three, four and five axes as well as automation solutions for single parts and small series production. The customers come from industries such as special machine construction, agricultural machinery technology, the textile industry, aviation, vehicle construction and packaging technology.

More than 240 engineers, software developers, mechatronics engineers and mechanics are working on making the CNC machining centres even more efficient and reliable in order to increase cost-effectiveness in single parts and small series production.

The mechanical processing of all essential assemblies and machine elements, from the machine bed to the rotating/swivelling table, takes place in the 1800 m² machining plant. State-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres are available there, which can machine workpieces with a weight of up to 30 tonnes and a length of up to twelve metres. In recent years, the proportion of in-house production at the Meppen site has been steadily increased.

With the renewed certification, HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik GmbH emphasises its impressive economic stability and financial strength. It is thus one of the exclusive two per cent of economically significant German companies that can be recognised for their exceptionally good creditworthiness. Thanks to an excellent balance sheet rating and first-class creditworthiness, the company fulfils all the requirements for the CrefoZert.

Managing director Dennis Hempelmann emphasises: "In today's world, it is a great advantage for us to document the economic stability of the company with the CrefoZert. The CrefoZert identifies us as a trustworthy partner for customers, employees and suppliers, giving us a competitive advantage."

"With the CrefoZert, we want to offer companies a way of documenting their own creditworthiness to customers, suppliers, banks and - against the background of the growing shortage of skilled labour - also to employees and applicants," says Christian Bolte, Managing Director of Creditreform Leer. "In times of fluctuating capital markets and stricter requirements for equity and liquidity guidelines under Basel III, healthy companies are all the more important. Here, the CrefoZert offers an excellent opportunity for transparent financial communication."

The certificate is valid for one year, provided that the award criteria are met. The current status is available at www.creditreform.de/crefozert.
