TILTENTA MILLTURN in the video:
Milling and turning in one clamping operation.

With the TILTENTA MILLTURN, HEDELIUS presents its first milling/turning machining centre for the complete processing of demanding workpieces in just one clamping operation. The combination of powerful 5-axis machining and integrated NC rotary table with turning function enables the continuous machining of milling and turning contours on one machine. This reduces reclamping processes, shortens lead times and increases process reliability. In this video, you can experience the TILTENTA MILLTURN under chip removal and gain an insight into the possibilities of modern milling-turning complete processing.

TILTENTA MILLTURN in the video: The milling-turning machining centre from HEDELIUS

With the TILTENTA MILLTURN, HEDELIUS is expanding its portfolio with a powerful milling-turning machining centre for the complete processing of demanding workpieces. The machine concept combines milling and turning in a continuous machining process and enables the production of complex components in just one clamping operation.

The TILTENTA MILLTURN is shown in the video under real machining conditions. It focuses on the advantages of complete milling-turning processing, the reduction of reclamping processes and the economical production of complex workpieces.

Milling and turning in a single clamping operation

The TILTENTA MILLTURN was developed to combine milling and turning operations on a single machine. While many manufacturing processes require several machines and additional reclamping operations, the milling-turning machining centre from HEDELIUS enables a continuous machining process.

Machining in a single clamping operation reduces tooling times and minimises potential sources of error. At the same time, process reliability is improved as workpieces remain on the same machine throughout the entire production process.

Advantages of milling-turning complete processing

The combination of milling and turning offers decisive advantages, especially for complex workpieces:

  • Reduction of reclamping operations
  • Shorter lead times
  • Higher process reliability
  • Improved workpiece accuracy
  • Economical production of complex components
  • Continuous machining processes on one machine

NC-Rotary table with turning function for demanding workpieces

A key feature of the TILTENTA MILLTURN is the integrated NC rotary table with turning function. With a table diameter of 900 mm and speeds of up to 500 min-¹, the machine is suitable for processing large and rotation-intensive workpieces.

The combination of a powerful milling spindle and integrated rotary drive creates the conditions for flexible complete processing of a wide range of component geometries.

Technical features of the TILTENTA MILLTURN

  • NC rotary table Ø 900 mm
  • Speeds up to 500 min-¹
  • Complete processing in a single clamping operation
  • Combination of milling and turning functions and turning functions
  • Machining of large and complex workpieces
  • High precision and process reliability

TILTENTA MILLTURN in practical use

The video shows the TILTENTA MILLTURN machining a workpiece and illustrates the advantages of modern mill-turn machining. The consistent combination of turning and milling operations reduces non-productive times and creates efficient manufacturing processes for demanding applications in mechanical engineering.

The potential of complete processing is particularly evident with complex workpieces. By combining several machining steps on one machine, manufacturing processes can be simplified and productivity increased.

HEDELIUS is expanding its portfolio to include mill-turn technology

With the TILTENTA MILLTURN, HEDELIUS is focusing on the consistent further development of complete processing. The milling-turning machining centre combines modern milling technology with high-performance turning and opens up new possibilities for the economical production of complex workpieces.

Technical details:
Mill-turn complete processing on one machine.

Where previously several machines and reclamping operations were often required, the TILTENTA MILLTURN enables the machining of milling and turning contours in one continuous process. This reduces non-productive times, minimises potential sources of error and increases process reliability. The centrepiece of the machine is the integrated NC rotary table with turning function. With a diameter of 900 mm and speeds of up to 500 min-¹, the TILTENTA MILLTURN is particularly suitable for large and rotation-intensive workpieces.
