In production, no two jobs are the same. Today a prismatic component in 3 axes, then a complex workpiece in 5 axes, then a shaft, a tube or a moulding in multiple clamping. If you want to produce such tasks economically, you need a machine that can be quickly adjusted to new requirements.
The tried-and-tested machining centres in the FORTE series from HEDELIUS have stood for maximum dynamics, precision and efficiency in vertical machining for years. They have established themselves as a reliable solution for the demanding production of single parts and small series, particularly in toolmaking, contract manufacturing and in institutes.
The FORTE machining centres are now available with a powerful extension: a CNC rotating table from pL LEHMANN for precise 5-axis machining. HEDELIUS thus offers a well thought-out, space-saving machine concept that minimises tooling times and significantly increases productivity.

The compact, high-precision rotating/swivelling table attachment is designed for 5-axis machining of precision mechanical workpieces. The machine can be quickly adapted to the respective machining situation thanks to various clamping solutions and adjustments.
The rotating/swivelling table is positioned quickly and with repeat precision on the machine table via a zero point clamping system. This enables flexible switching between 3-axis and 5-axis machining in the shortest possible time. Ideal for changing requirements in day-to-day production.
The rotary swivelling table can also be used as a rotary table (A-axis), e.g. to machine shafts of pipes with a tailstock or to drive a swivel bridge.
An integrated quick-change system for clamping devices and an optional adapter plate with tailstock for shaft machining offer additional efficiency. For maximum flexibility, the adapter plate can also be equipped with a counter bearing and a 900 mm long swivelling bridge. Ideal for multiple clamping or machining longer workpieces.

During the day, the machine remains freely accessible for the manual machining of large and complex single parts, whilst the automation system enables additional productive spindle hours outside regular shifts.
