Impressions.
We can look back on two successful trade fair days with enriching exchanges. It was a special pleasure for us to welcome more than 500 visitors to this year's in-house exhibition in Meppen on 24 and 25 April. A big thank you goes to 23 partner companies who took part in our trade exhibition and, of course, to all our employees who made this event possible.
The gallery will give you an impression of the atmosphere and the highlights of the two days of the fair.

Experience the large HEDELIUS in-house exhibition from a new perspective with our comprehensive photo gallery. Get an insight into the technological diversity that was offered to our visitors: fourteen 3- and 5-axis CNC machining centres and seven automation concepts from the workpiece and pallet handling ranges were able to demonstrate their performance live.

What do the Olympic Games have to do with metalworking? At first glance, not much. Some might immediately think of the customary bite that winning athletes take out of their medals. But it’s worth taking a closer look – because the right equipment can make all the difference when it comes to those crucial hundredths of a second. When German athletes compete for medals at the Olympics, in many cases there is a great amount of development and manufacturing work behind the scenes. At the Institute for Research and Development of Sports Equipment (FES) in Berlin, this also includes CNC technology from HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik in Meppen.
(PDF | DE) Machining large workpieces flexibly whilst reducing unproductive downtime: The TILTENTA 9-2600 with MARATHON LR810 combines the advantages of a universal travelling-column machine with high-performance heavy-duty automation. During the day, the machine remains freely accessible for the manual machining of large and complex single parts, whilst the automation system enables additional productive spindle hours outside regular shifts. Up to ten pallet locations and a transfer weight of 2,000 kg provide the ideal conditions for this.
Steingross Feinmechanik GmbH & Co. KG specialises in the manufacture of sophisticated CNC-turned and CNC-milled components – from prototypes through to series production. Founded in Berlin in 1990 by Uwe Steingross, the company sees itself as a comprehensive system supplier of CNC machining technology and combines modern milling and turning processes with surface treatment, precision finishing, final assembly and design consultancy. Since 2019, Steingross has been relying heavily on HEDELIUS as a technology partner – including for the automation of its manufacturing processes.
